HELEN SHOWS HER METTLE!

Secret Style Tips of Celebrity Dame Helen Mirren

She is described as our National Treasure for her immaculate work on stage and screen, both television and cinema.  She has the ability to get under the very skins of the ladies she portrays.  Think back to Queen Elizabeth,  DCI  Jane Tennison, and really recently the Oscar-winning actress plays the iconic director's Alma Reville in new biopic 'Hitchcock'.

Although Helen is a an over-50 lady of sexy glamour she whips off the makeup and scapes back her silver hair for the parts she plays - something I couldn't allow.  Separating me from even my Maybeline Mascara might involve a surgical procedure!

So, how does she always look sensational?
Let's face it - most of us cover up our white hair the moment it sprouts but Helen embraces it and allows it to dominate her look.  She builds on the precious silver/ platinum metal colour by repeating it in her clothes.  It was difficult to find a photo of her that didn't feature, midnight blue and seducing the camera with liquid silver.  See how she accentuates her curves with a loose noose of silver rope; drawing the eye down to her lower body.

Here, she's lit up like a meteor shower in a magnificent evening dress.  The shimmer reflects onto her face creating a dewy brightening effect - very age reversing.

Oh Helen! soft grey angora softens her looks and gives her complexion a dreamy, youthful appearance.  Combined with subtle eye colour but with plenty of pretty pink blusher and lipstick to pep up her medium toned skin colour.

Helen's hourglass figure is shown off in a plain wrap-over, cinched at the waist. Oh, and look, silver shoes!
And again, she steals the night as she illuminates the darkness with this slinky silver number.
However, doesn't she look fab in black - that shouldn't work?  But there's enough flesh on show with the low cut and flesh behind the lace to keep her look soft.

STEAL HER LOOKS!
Try this Betty Jackson number from Debenhams £59.00 and create an hourglass figure into the bargain.
